Dr. Iain Douglas Hamilton, OBE
Founder, Save the Elephants

One of the world's foremost authorities on the African elephant, and pioneered the Iain the first in-depth scientific study of elephant social behaviour in Tanzania's Lake Manyara National Park at age 23. Currently working with the African Elephant Specialist Group of IUCN and the Technical Advisory Group for MIKE.

Peter Fearnhead was a management consultant with Deloitte, before joining South African National Parks, where he held a number of positions including Resource Economist, Advisor to the CEO, and Head of Commercial Development. Peter was also one of the Founders of African Parks. He was appointed as CEO in 2007.

Richard is also a Professor of Anthropology at Stony Brook University, and the former Director of the National Museums of Kenya and the Kenya Wildlife Service.

She subsequently served as the Senior Managing Director for Africa at Aldwych Capital Partners, advising African sovereigns and businesses, and most recently as the Founder and CEO of Pangolin LLC, an Africa-focused strategic advisory.

She is a Director of Big Life, a Trustee of ERuDeF, and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

Will co-founded Born Free in 1984. Today its projects and campaigns span five continents and are supported worldwide. Will is also Chair of the Board of the Species Survival Network (since 1996). He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and a member of the IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature) Species Survival Commission's Reintroduction Specialist Group.

Dr. Peter J. Middlebrook

A leading international geo-strategist and economist, specialising in emerging and frontier markets. A former UK Government, European Union, World Bank and UN staff member he has travelled to more than 100 countries. The past 25 years he has lived in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia and has a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Economics from the University of Durham. He has been a vegan for 25 years.
